The Quai D’Orsay Baalbeck – Regional Edition Lebanon – is named after the ancient Baalbeck temple complex in Lebanon and is an expression of one of the most popular lines in the Habanos offer, Quai D’Orsay. The Duke size cigar features tobacco aged for three years, in boxes of 50 for the first time. The initial idea was to produce 60,000 sticks, but with demand expected to be high, the quantity was increased to 120,000 sticks or 2,400 boxes.

While France’s Cuban cigar distributor Coprova turned 50 in 2020, the company continues to celebrate the milestone with the El Rey del Mundo L’Epoque, a Regional Edition cigar made just for the country.

At 6 1/2 inches long by 54 ring gauge, the El Rey del Mundo L’Epoque has the same dimensions as the Montecristo Sublimes LE 2008 and Cohiba Sublimes LE 2004. 

The Ramon Allones Phoenicio 40 is a cigar released to celebrate the 40^th anniversary of the Phoenicio Trading, one of the biggest Habanos distributors. The cigar, presented last year at a virtual event that happened simultaneously with some tasting in some countries around the globe, was first available in a limited series of humidors.

The other item is a special guarantee seal, decorated with shiny silver foil, embossed spots, and invisible black-light ink.

These additions will be very helpful for customers interested in these releases since some Ramon Allones Phoenicio 40 Exclusivo Libano fake boxes have been already been spotted in some markets.

Diplomaticos Grandes ER Alemania 2021 (Germany)

The Cigar

The Diplomáticos Grandes is a cigar made exclusively for the German market—Alemania is the Spanish name for Germany—and the 7 9/16 (192mm) x 40 vitola is known as a Laguito Especial, a size that is perhaps best known for being the same vitola as the legendary Trinidad Fundadores.

The Harimau Malaya (name representing the national mascot of Malaysia) is generally referred to as Panthera tigers malayansia, due to its geographical population in Peninsular Malaysia.

This population inhabits the southern and central parts of the Malay Peninsular. In the Malay language, the Harimar (Tiger), also known as the southern Indonchinse Tiger. This tiger is the smallest tiger compared to his 8 other brothers, and has a different stripe, just like human fingerprints. This tiger is the king of the forest, however humans often kill these animals for their skin and fur used for clothing, medicines.

 This tiger has been classified as critically endangered, with likely less than 200 individuals remaining on a declining trend.

The Cigar

The Diplomaticos Ammunition Cigar comes as one of the Habanos S.A. regional edition cigars of 2018. It is inspired by the ‘“challenge, thrill and resolves felt and experienced by hunters and poker players, dedicated to their passion, knowledge of the gratitude for the accomplishment of success” - according to Hisham Lofti, Phoenicia Trading’s Sales Director. 

The Cuban cigar measures 150mm by a 54 ring gauge - forming the Geniales vitola. Inside you’ll find the finest long filler tobacco grown in the famous Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba.

The Diplomaticos Cigars are limited to 10,000 boxes with 10 cigars in each. Grab them while you can! 

Diplomaticos Colección Privada II ER Espana (Spain) 2020

The Cigar

Spain's renowned Cuban cigar distributor - Tabacalera S.L.U. - introduced the Diplomáticos Colección Privada II as the Edición Regional for the Spanish market in 2020. Showcasing the Edmundo size of 135 mm x 52ring,  parejo, this release follows its predecessor, the Diplomáticos Colección Privada of 2013, which was a 4 inch x 50 ring Cuban cigar.

Limited to 50,000 numbered boxes, each containing 10 cigars, the Colección Privada II stands as potentially the most numerous Edición Regional release, totalling 500,000 cigars.

Habanos S.A.'s Edición Regional program allows global distributors to commission unique cigars for their regions, choosing from select brands and sizes. These cigars are distinguished by a red and silver band, typically indicating the region.

Flor De Cano Grandiosos Asia Pacific Regional Edition 2013

Only 2,400 boxes of these Diplomaticos regional editions are produced.
