The Harimau Malaya (name representing the national mascot of Malaysia) is generally referred to as Panthera tigers malayansia, due to its geographical population in Peninsular Malaysia.
This population inhabits the southern and central parts of the Malay Peninsular. In the Malay language, the Harimar (Tiger), also known as the southern Indonchinse Tiger. This tiger is the smallest tiger compared to his 8 other brothers, and has a different stripe, just like human fingerprints. This tiger is the king of the forest, however humans often kill these animals for their skin and fur used for clothing, medicines.
This tiger has been classified as critically endangered, with likely less than 200 individuals remaining on a declining trend.
