This release comes from famed Barbados distillery Foursquare's Exceptional Cask Series, and continues the theme of matching its characterful rums with maturation in wine casks. With dried fruit and spice notes alongside vibrant fresh fruit, this is a blend of Foursquare's pot and column-distilled rums that combines ageing in ex-bourbon barrels and a Black Muscat cask from a winery in the South of France. The result is an exceptional and idiosyncratic rum.
